A few interesting flower facts and tips

While catching up on some of my reading, I came across a few interesting items I thought I’d pass along…

Don’t have a vase? Check your cupboards. Bottles, champagne flutes, cups and bowls are fun containers you can use to display your flowers.
Is amaranth a flower, a grain, or a weed? Find out the answer here
Calla lilies bruise easily, so be careful when handling the colored part of the flower. Callas are also a thirsty flower, so be sure to check the water level in your vase at least once a day.
