Esmeralda Farms earns new Veriflora certification
Congratulations to the folks over at Esmeralda Farms, one of our favorite cut flower suppliers, upon earning Veriflora certification for their farms in Ecuador.
Not only is this great news for those of us in the business, it’s great news for customers who buy roses from us, since most of the ones we sell are grown there.
In order to earn Veriflora certification, the company’s environmental, social and quality management practices were independently evaluated by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) and were determined to have met exceptional standards of excellence.
Esmeralda also owns and operates VeriFlora-certified farms in Columbia, another area where we get many of our flowers from as well.
