Hydrangeas - A summer flower favorite available now

July 16th, 2008 · No Comments

Over the last several years, hydrangeas have consistently been one the most-requested wedding flowers in our shop.

And while most people think of hydrangeas primarily as a wedding flower, I think it’s time to color outside the lines a little.

Hydrangeas are also a great choice to send for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply for no reason at all.

Peak season for hydrangeas is from early spring to fall. What makes them so popular as a cut flowers is the showy size of the blooms, which are often 4 to 8 inches in diameter. Colors include white, pink, blue, green, purple.

Another reason people enjoy hydrangeas is because they’re long-lasting. They have a vase life of 5 to 10 days, and the flowers are suitable for drying after that.

So if your looking to send flowers that are a little out of the ordinary, I’m certain your favorite flower lover will enjoy receiving these magnificent stems of mixed hydrangeas, shipped overnight from our selected growers!
