Over the past several months, I’ve been posting some of the updates to this blog to my Twitter account. As a result, I’ve gotten some additional traffic to my sites, but more importantly, more quality followers, some of which are local area businesses.

Thanks to an idea I got on John Jantsch’s blog, I’ve just added an easy way for more readers of this blog to connect and be found on Twitter.

Now, whenever you leave a comment to a post on this blog, you can add your Twitter username and it will show up in your comment, next to your name. This will make it easy for people to follow you after reading your comment. Remember, your comments will still be moderated, so make sure your comments add value and make people want to follow you on Twitter.

Try it out by adding your comment to this post. Give people a reason to click on your Twitter ID to follow you, by telling us a little bit about yourself or your business. Or better yet, if you host your own Worpress blog, add the code and give it a try yourself.
