If you have ever made a floating candle arrangement with submerged flowers, you know how tricky it can be to keep your flowers properly positioned in the vase. They usually float to the top.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn a simple wire technique that will help keep your flowers where you want them in your arrangement.
I think you’ll truly enjoy the tips shared in this video.
That’s why I felt it was worth sharing with DIYers like you. I think you’ll agree.
I really hope you enjoyed that… and are super excited about giving this a try. It’s really foolproof, even for a novice.
And by the way, the flowers and supplies used in this bouquet, including the cymbidium orchids, can all be purchased online.
Where To Buy Flowers Online
You can find them at sites like BloomsbytheBox, GlobalRose and Flower Explosion. These three are the ones that I’ve personally experienced.
Others look pretty good as well, like WholeBlossoms and BunchesDirect, but I don’t have any personal experience with them.
Other Flowers You Can Use
Not only can you use other orchid varieties, but you can also use flowers such as roses, calla lilies, gerbera daisies, and carnations. It depends on your preferences and budget.

If you are only making an arrangement or two and need a handful of high-quality flowers, I usually suggest purchasing them from a local florist. Always my first choice!
As for supplies, cylinder vases can be found almost everywhere. Amazon and eBay sell a variety of sizes.
One of the most popular places to find them is Dollar Tree, and you certainly can’t beat the price.
Floating candles, along with a good selection of aluminum floral wire, can be found on Amazon.
One other thing I like about the materials used is that they can all be reused, except the flowers, of course.
